Rules for using wappr

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using wappr ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Description of Service

wappr provides API access to WhatsApp Business services, including a TypeScript SDK, webhook relay, Flows Builder, and analytics dashboard. The Service connects to Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform on your behalf.

wappr is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or an official partner of Meta Platforms, Inc. Use of the WhatsApp Business API is subject to Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy.

The Service is currently in beta. Features, pricing, and availability may change at any time. We will notify active users of significant changes in advance whenever possible.

3. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your API keys and credentials.
  • All activity that occurs under your account.
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access at security@wappr.dev.

You must be at least 18 years old and have the authority to bind the organization you represent to these Terms.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Send spam, unsolicited messages, or messages to users who have not opted in.
  • Violate Meta's WhatsApp Business Policy or Messaging Guidelines.
  • Send messages promoting illegal activities, adult content, weapons, or regulated substances.
  • Attempt to circumvent rate limits, security measures, or API restrictions.
  • Resell or sublicense API access without our written consent.
  • Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these restrictions without prior notice.

5. Payment Terms

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in advance. All fees are in USD and non-refundable except as required by law or as stated in our refund policy.

If payment fails, we will attempt to retry for 7 days before suspending your account. You are responsible for maintaining accurate billing information.

Message costs are billed directly by Meta — wappr charges only for platform access and does not mark up WhatsApp conversation fees.

6. Service Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The Service depends on Meta's WhatsApp Business Platform, which may be subject to outages, rate limits, or policy changes outside our control.

Scale plan customers are entitled to the SLA terms agreed at purchase. Free and Pro plan users are not covered by an uptime SLA.

7. Intellectual Property

wappr and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Wappr Tecnologia Ltda. and protected by intellectual property laws. The wappr name, logo, and trademarks may not be used without our prior written consent.

You retain ownership of all data and content you send or create through the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:

  • The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.
  • Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not responsible for actions taken by Meta (including account restrictions or API changes) that affect your use of the Service.

9. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.

We may suspend or terminate your account immediately for breach of these Terms, non-payment, or activity that puts the platform or other users at risk. Upon termination, your data will be deleted within 30 days.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Brazil. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be submitted to the competent courts of Natal/RN, Brazil. For EU/EEA users, mandatory local consumer protection laws may also apply.
